OAK HOUSING PIPELINE / FRAMEWORK

  • 1,000 + units
  • Advised the owners of a ‘for profit’ RP in raising a large tranche of equity to fund their growth in the Affordable Housing sector
  • The RP has a particular expertise in managing units for temporary accommodation and homelessness and the JV acquired the first asset in March 2021 in West Drayton (45 units)

CENTRE SQUARE HIGH WYCOMBE

  • 123 BTR Units
  • Advised a PLC developer on the funding of a 123 unit scheme in the centre of High Wycombe
  • Transaction completed in September 2020 and was forward funded with PGIM. PC of the scheme achieved in March 2021

KENT STREET BATHS BIRMINGHAM

  • 284 BTR units
  • Engaged on the redesign of a scheme that had a planning consent, as part of a wider 500 unit scheme.
  • Advised on the forward funding to a major German Pension Fund –  completed December 2019

HOLLOWAY HEAD BIRMINGHAM

  • 483 BTR units
  • Prime site in Birmingham near Mailbox, adjacent to City Centre. Advised client on redesign of scheme (to BTR) and secured Invesco to forward fund the entire development.
  • Transaction completed August 2019 and currently under construction

HADRIANS TOWER NEWCASTLE

  • 162 units (completed)
  • Acquired a site for a developer in a prime location in the St James’s area of  city centre. Planning consent for 162 units in a 26-storey tower
  • Advised on site acquisition, funding, redesign and pre-sales (to overseas investor)

SILBURY BOULEVARD MILTON KEYNES

  • 142 BTR units
  • Advised on forward funding of 142 BTR units in central Milton Keynes (first BTR scheme in the town)
  • Advised on planning, design and finance – secured Grainger PLC to forward fund the scheme. PC achieved June 2020

PETERBOROUGH SHOWGROUND

  • 160 acres (c. 2,000 units)
  • Advising a joint venture (charitable trust & developer) on the masterplan and exit strategy of a significant site in Peterborough that will comprise c 2,000 houses
  • Currently working on the pre-planning process and engaging with various potential funders, particularly in the BTR and Affordable sectors

CHESHIRE JUNCTION WARRINGTON

  • 362 BTR units
  • Site adjacent to Warrington Central Station. Planning consent achieved for 362 BTR units plus commercial and a 780 space car park
  • Forward funded by a German pension fund and now under construction

Bethnal Green LONDON

  • 201 student accommodation units (studios)
  • Located close to Queen Mary University of London
  • Advised the purchaser on the off-market acquisition of an existing, purpose-built student accommodation property in East London
